Feminism's Helpers

Seen recently: two things: a) a mention of abortion; and b) a mention of child day-care [ironically, we saw both mentions on the same day].

Abortion and day-care share one feature above all others: both aid feminism by default by allowing women to have "careers." Both allow women to pretend that they are men by wearing pants and working 10-hour days at some office while not having to worry about caring for children.

These days, children often come second - or even third - to a woman's career. This is called progress, for some reason.

Will this situation change anytime soon? Not as long as women have vast political and social influence in America, and not as long as men allow women to call the tune in our society - a dramatic departure from our previous society of, say, 1950, when only White men called the tune.
