WWII and Who Caused It

Jews and leftists love to state that Germany started World War II. But Germany did not start that war.

World War II began when Hitler invaded Poland in September 1939. After that invasion, Britain and France declared war on Germany, using among other excuses Britain's 1939 security treaty with Poland which guaranteed that Britain would aid Poland in case of attack [1].

However, Britain's 1939 treaty with Poland was bogus on two counts: first, it was not 'ratified' by the British government [2]; second, when the Soviet Union also invaded Poland just days after Germany did, Britain did not declare war on the Soviets as well, even though the wording of the treaty demanded that Britain defend Poland against all "hostilities" and "aggression" directed against Poland by another country [3]. That Britain guaranteed one Polish border but not the opposite border highlights the hypocrisy of war-era allied attitudes toward Germany.

The fact is that Britain and France did not have to declare war against Germany in 1939. They had several other options available to them instead of war, including embargoes and the severing of diplomatic relations with Germany.

Furthermore, had Poland returned a small amount of territory to Hitler - territory which was stolen from Germany in 1919 by the Versailles Treaty [4] - it is likely that Hitler would not have invaded Poland in the first place. Hitler demanded that Poland give back formerly-German territory twice in March, 1939. Each time Poland refused. Furthermore, in August of 1939 Britain and France urged Poland to negotiate with Germany. Poland refused. It seems that Poland would not even consider returning any land to Germany. In fact, Poland actually prepared for war roughly 1 week prior to the German invasion of Poland. It is clear that Poland preferred war over negotiating with Germany about a small amount of land that was stolen from Germany.

Also of major importance regarding the beginning of WWII is the fact that immediately after Hitler invaded Poland, he offered to withdraw his troops from Poland if he would be allowed by the allies to keep the territories that were stolen from Germany. The allies refused and instead demanded that Hitler withdraw his troops from Poland within hours.

Like the history of WWI, the history of WWII is regularly lied about by Jews and leftists.

[1] the Agreement of Mutual Assistance, August 25, 1939, signed by Halifax and Raczynski

[2] under the Ponsonby Rule, a treaty must sit for 21 days before ratification

[3] of importance is that there was a secret, non-published protocol accompanying Britain's 1939 treaty with Poland, which mentioned and singled-out Germany by name. The initial treaty did not mention Germany

[4] Danzig and the Polish Corridor. Germany was held 'responsible' for World War I even though Austria-Hungary started that war and even though Germany mobilized for war after Austria-Hungary and Russia did. Germany mobilized for combat third, yet was somehow 'responsible' for that war. The penalty for Germany being responsible for WWI was Germany giving Danzig and the Polish Corridor to Poland
